The Board acknowledged receiving -the Special Commission on Environmental Operations report. 10. The Board was informed of the South Cape Beach Advisory 'Committee meeting n /30/88 at 7: 0 p. . 1 1 . Board of Health response to the E..I, . from south Cape Beach Advisory Committee - , Mr. Costa commented this Board is very concerned in regards to the septic and sewerage area proposed and will respond to any reports submitted. APPOINTMENT - Lindau Smith , perc extension denial - Ms. smith was in attendance and statedshe is requesting a five or six week perc extension as she will begin construction on her property- shortly. Mr. McQuaid informed the Board that this is the first request for a pert extension and explained that Ms. Smith could request the engineer to contact a Board of Health agent atothe time of excavation to verify the soil condi- tions ondir- tions at the time of installation, Mr. Costa motioned to grant the pert extension as requested for a period not to exceed six months and with the stipulation a health agent be present at the time of excat i on to verify the soil conditions at the time of installa- tion, nsta1la- tion, Nor. Wilson seconded, all agreed-'- 12. need:- 12. Copy, annual report of vital statistics for Massachusetts - The Board acknowledged receiving the report. 1 . Requet' to reconsider denial of perk extension, 18 Cotuit Road (McInnis) - r. Costa stated the Board has received a report from Baxter & Nye and stated given the lots in the area are small and the homes in the area have existed for a long period of time motioned to deny the reconsidera- tion Yeconsidera- tion request for a perk extension, Mr. Gree l i sh seconded, all agreed. 14. Perk extension request, 2 Amy Brown Road,, article - Mr. Costa stated this percolation test period expires August 8, 1988 and commented at the present time no problems exist at the site and motioned to grant the six month extension to begin August 8, 1988, Mr. Gree1ish seconded, all agreed. 15. Repair plan, Labute, Elisabeth Island Road, (Sullivan) - Mr. McQuaid in- formed the Board that they are constructing an addition and the septic system rust be upgraded to Title V. He stated he informed r. Lab ute that he should research whjch abutters are tied into the Highwood dater system and which abutters are not as to approve the location of the repo i red system. . Costa stated this applicant as well as other proposals for additions being constructed in torn are replacing their systems with a new l'i t l e V system and are referring to the replacement as a repair and commented {
