M . costa stated he does not consider <br /> this a repair and commented a Title V system should be prepared b <br /> a registered sanitarian. <br /> Mr. McQuaid explained to the Board that those procedures have been <br /> adopted by: this Board and commented that the lot was perked dune 2 , <br /> 1988. <br /> Mr, costa. suggested Mr. Labute retain a registered sanitarian to pre- <br /> pare t46 septic plans. <br /> rt <br /> Mr. costa stated the plans presented are not adequate and motioned <br /> t deny the repair plans as presented, Mr. Gree.lish seconded, all agreed. <br /> Note: MP. costa suggested all future .p i arcs submitted -to this Board <br /> are properly defined as to repair and new systems so that a cons i sten , -- <br /> can be maintained, the Board was -in a.g reeanc . <br /> 16. Model well regulation w/Town counsel comment - The Board acknowledged <br /> receiving this opinion, will review it and shall be--discussed at next <br /> weeks meeting. <br /> Lots 2 221 -Hilltop Avenue Mr. McQuaid discussed with the Board <br /> the septic plans- for these lots and explained a water analysis was approved <br /> in May 1985 and in September 1985 a moratorium was imposed which required <br /> a EPA 624 and a recorded a i'ver at the deg i stry of Deeds. He stated a report <br /> was received of the VOC testing conducted by offs and this was one of the <br /> locations randomly- selected by Otis blot 221 and stated he .g estioned Otis <br /> as to whether the vc testing was approved and they responded it was well <br /> below levels required. Mr. McQuaid questioned the Board as to whether they <br /> will except the sample testing as an EPA 624 and the sign the waiver so that <br /> 'this person can record this at the Registry of Deeds or would- the Board want <br /> to grandfather the lot since the testing was performed before the moratorium <br /> was instituted. <br /> t <br /> Mr. costa stated all permits expire within one ,year however stated the <br /> EPA 624 -could be accepted. i f Mr. McQuaid finds it satisfactory and stated <br /> he would require a letter from the owner of the lot stating that the test <br /> results performed are acceptable and at that time the waiver could be signed <br /> by -this Board <br /> APPOINTMENT - George Heufelder, Dick & El l ie' s Flea Market Mr. Heufelder <br /> was not in attendance for this meeting. <br /> w <br /> Being no further bus i ness this meeti rig adjourned at : 1 <br /> Respectfully submitted <br /> Veronica ren, Principal Clerk <br /> i <br /> J ,1 <br />
