BOARD of HEALTH <br /> i <br /> • <br /> s <br /> Mr., McQuaidexplained to Mr. Taro" that the d ff re roe between Mobile <br /> Food Permit and a Peddler's license is that a Peddler's license is someone <br /> who sellgoods door to door or on the road and the goods are to be consumed <br /> at home not on the site. i 1 <br /> R <br /> Mr. Turo commented to the Board that a Peddler' s license would be a <br /> more adequate license, for. hi..s type of busines�;,.' _ z <br /> Mr. - Costa informed Mr, Turo that his business is categorized as a <br /> mobile l food vendor and if he wishes to operate his business in this town <br /> he will have to pay the required fee and suggested to Mr. Turo that he <br /> forward a written suggestion to this Board on the fees and the Board will <br /> take this into consideration when setting the fee schedule for net year. <br /> APPOINTMENT: 4: 15 Gerry Labute - septic repair plan (Sullivan) - <br /> M . , Labute was in attendance for this appointment. <br /> Mr. Costa informed Mr. Labute that Mr. McQuaid viewed the site and <br /> did not find a failure. <br /> Mr. Labute e p l-a i ned to the Board that the system overflowed last <br /> summer., since their Ms. Sullivan has not operated her washing machine. <br /> He commented that the resident is planning a large gathering in August <br /> and the system may not be able to handle such a large crowd-. <br /> 4 <br /> Mr. Costa stated to Mr* Labute that the use of a emergency repair <br /> is given to a qualified installer for that use only and informed Mr, Labute <br /> that when the pert test was performed the owner stated then that he is pro- <br /> posing <br /> r;opo ierg an addition. <br /> Mr. Labute responded that the owner informed hirer that he was <br /> contemplating an addition some time in the future and reiterated h i s <br /> earlier comments that if the system overflows during the gathering in <br /> August it could be very embarrassing for the owner. <br /> Mr. Costa commented to Mr. Labute that the owner has enough time <br /> in which to hire ars engineer and -update .tire system. <br /> Mr. McQuaid suggested -to the Board that Mr. Labute submit a letter <br /> to this Board stating that he has witnessed the system in failure and <br /> a statement from the pumper to the same effect. <br /> . Costa motioned for Mr. McQuaid to view the system and determine <br /> whether it is in emergency repair and requested Mr. Labute and the pamper <br /> submit to this Board a . letter stating the system is in failure, Mr. Wilson <br /> seconded, a l l agreed. <br /> 10. ) Memo from Mr. McQuaid to the Board of Health regarding status of <br /> pesticide spraying regulations - Mr. McQuaid stated that D.E.Q.E. . <br /> suggested that the Highwood Water Company install n inter; elgate bac .low <br /> preventer to go from the hydrant to the truck and commented that once this <br /> has burr purchased by thea this Board can proceo<J with adopting the regula- <br /> tions. <br />
