BOARD OF HEALTH <br />' r <br /> Mr, Gree l i sh stated. he would like receive input for various faft <br /> owners in the town. <br /> Mr. Costa r come nded a public he ring for the adoption of the animal <br /> regulations and the Animal Control officer be notified of the hearing <br /> date and request 1mput from her. <br /> The Board' was in agreeance to hold a public hearing on September 12, 1988 <br /> at :00 P'M, for the adoption of Torn Animal Regulations. <br /> . copy of draft pesticide/herbicide regulations - Mr, Costa commented he <br /> is requesting a change in the wording of.-condition 12 and explained <br /> that the.- Company'of Highwatr Water should be generalized -to Water <br /> i-stricts or comparable to that. <br /> Mr. McQuaid recommended to the Board that the regulation -bei publicized <br /> in the newspaper,, once publication tales place a thirty day -grace period <br /> s tall be held open for comments 'and, recommendations and stated once the <br /> thirty-days expires, the regulations shall ,b re-advertised and still. <br /> take effect on the date of the re-pub l,lcation. <br /> The Board agreed with. Mr. Mc aid's recom endations and requested him <br /> to begin procedures. +' <br /> . copy of letter from Building Department to legal counsel (Industrial <br /> Accident regarding requiring wor' men' comp; , <br /> Mr. Haute, Assistant Building Inspector, and Mr. Greelish stated they <br /> would research this and return at a later date with the information. <br /> APPOINTMENT: 3:30 - Ri-chard Cooley for Cotuit Bay condo septic systems. <br /> Mr, Richard Cooley and Mr. Dominick Serra were in attendance for d l . <br /> cession. <br /> Mr. Costa explained to Mr, Cooley that two septic systems have not been <br /> located. . <br /> Mr. Cooley informed Mr. costa that they have located one of the sept.i c <br /> systems. in question, <br /> Mr. Costa questioned- Mr, Serra as to why it was difficult to f l-nd the <br /> location of that system. <br /> Mr. Serra stated he secured the plans from this office, however the system <br /> was not in -the area designated. He explained that the system was not in <br /> failure however it was full. <br /> Mr. McQuaid 'informed both Mr, Cooley and Mr. Serra that they have not been <br /> able to comply with state regulations which require that all' multi-unit <br /> systems must be inspected ann all , because the systems cannot be lco ted. <br /> Mr. costa informed Mr. Cooley that Cotuit Bay condo project is suspected <br /> of being one of the possible contaminents to the Bay, fir.
