MINUTES August. 2 , 1988 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Serra as to, when he will be able to locate- the remaining system. <br /> Mr. Serraresponded, -by tomorrow. <br /> Mr, McQuaid commented that when ars engineering firm -is firm-isretained to draw <br /> up -the Master plan, designating- the enact location of each system; it <br /> is imperative the engineer's inspect the installation of these systems. <br /> Mr. McQuaid informed Nor. Cobley that a master plans of the septic systems <br /> .ems <br /> shall i l ude the actual i stances from the building to the tanks, D.. Bo <br /> then to the l each i ng' fa i l i ti e , -as well as, ` an las built desigra. Mr. <br /> McQuaid requested he be. i nfor me when inspections take place. <br /> Mr. Costa informed Mr. Cooley that in the -future a sub-regional plant <br /> may be located in the area and future hook-up may be a requirement.- <br /> 5 <br /> Mr, Costa- commented that complaints have been received that the one bed- <br /> room wellings are being used .as two bedroom and this may have an effect <br /> on some- of the septic systems if the holding capacity is minimum. <br /> APPOINTMENT: 4:00 p,m. - Robert Wenger regarding septic upgrade on 35 Hi igret <br /> Avenue. <br /> Mr, Wenger was in- attendance representirig the -owner. <br /> Nor. Wenger stated the owner informed hire that an emergency repair was <br /> performed in the Spring because the pumpers refused to drain the -tank. Mr <br /> Wenger. info med the Board that the owner has retained h i elf to add a second <br /> floor to -his home. He stated the home has two existing bedrooms on the first <br /> floor,. the owner is proposing three bedrooms on the second level and proposes <br /> to convert one bedroom on the first level to a dere, <br /> Mr. McQuaid info me the Board that plans were approved based on the fact <br /> that this was an. emergency repair and stated a copy -of the decision and repair <br /> plans were forwarded to D.E. ,E, however, D.E. .E* . did -net approve- thea. <br /> Mr.. Costa. stated approval from D.E. .E, will be required before th i-s Board <br /> will sign the 'building permit. <br /> .Mr, Creel i s-h commented that the leaching field is equivalent to a two <br /> bedroom house. <br /> Mr. Wenger pre sebted a copy-of the derision rendered by this Board which <br /> states no alterations or additions are allowed upon approval of this repair <br /> plan. <br /> Nor. McQuaid explained to Mr. Wenger that B.E. .E. will request complete <br /> engineering plans as to what was installed. <br /> .
