MINUTES September 2 , 1988 3 BOARD of HEALTH s# APPOINTMENT 3:30 -' Variance request for Ojala for 3- Pine Avenue Ms. Carol Young, representing Down cape Engineering, and Mr. Greg Grosser were in attendance for this Variance request. Ms. Young ep l a i reed to the Board that presently there is an -existing dwelling with a.cesspool a t the s i to and commented their are proposing to raise the existing dwellingand construct a new one and update the system to Title V standards. She stated the, cur ent lo,cati-on from the septic area to the nearest e l l ' i s 48 feet, with the new system installed the maximum footage a. ail b 1 e to the nearest we'll wou l be 84 feet,, Ms. Young informed the Board that abutters have been notified of the Variance request thru certified mail , return receipt requested) . Mr. McQuaid explained to Ms. Young that the list f abutters must be verified by this Board and the ab.utters notified of the hearing date and time of ,the meeting. Mr, Grosser provided to Mr. McQuaid the list of abutters that were notified of the Variance request. Mr. McQuaid verified the list bf abutters as required,, however in- formed Ms. young and Mr. Grosser that once the return- recei-pt,+ l s'-reel ed ;-, 1-4 day period must elapse before the hearing can be held and explained D.E. ,E, will have to be notified of this Variance., request. Mr. costa motioned to continue this Variance hearing until October 175 1988 meeting, Mr, Greelish seconded.; all agreed. ,, ' r 1 . Mr. McQuaid explained that B.F.I . have submitted 4 tickets', a. ref urn of $1200.00 is requested.
