Warrants signed <br /> 2, ) motioned to accept the minutes of September 29, 1988, Mr. <br /> Costa seocnded,, <br /> . ) Copy,, ',Pletter from cot u i t Water Dept. to Carl r s s ett i regarding pro- <br /> gress a <br /> ro- <br /> gre t Stratford Ponds. - Mr. McQuaid explained to the Board that the <br /> otu it Water Department is requesting that they be informed f all phases <br /> of development, as they pertain to this Board and occupancy permits are <br /> monitored as issued. Mr. McQuaid recommended to the Board that the engi- <br /> neering firm be responsible for forwarding copies of their periodic in'- <br /> spectiens to the Cotuit Water Department. <br /> The Board- was in agreeance and requested fir. McQuaid to contact the <br /> engineering f i rr informing them of this requested procedure and to.- in- <br /> form <br /> a- in- <br /> form the Board of their decision. <br /> 4. Memo, from Joseph Murphy to all departments regarding Special Town Meeting .- <br /> The <br /> he tin .- <br /> The Board acknowledged receiving the memo. <br /> . Copy,, letter from D.E. .E. to Weston & Sampson regarding app I i cat i n for <br /> Transfer Station - The Board acknowledged receiving the copy. + <br /> . ) Memo, -Denise Sullivan to Elias McQuaid regarding comparative number of <br /> vehicles enteririg landfill - r, McQuiad informed the Board that a cord- <br /> i ng to our findings there has been an increase of approximately 5,000 <br /> vehicles over the same -two month period as last year and commented that <br /> this- mai, 'be inaccurate however if- this estimation is correct thea pro- <br /> posed estimates to SEMASS may require adjusting. <br /> r, r- e fish recommended the Board continue monitoring vehicles enter- <br /> in the landfill for two months , at which time a determination can be <br /> ascertained as to whether the fluctuations are eroneous or comp n apt i ons <br /> are necessary. <br /> Mr. costa requested a copy of these findings be submitted to Mr. Murphy <br /> for future reference, <br /> . Memo,, Mr. Virgilio to Mr, costae regarding lagoons - Nor. McQuaid informed- <br /> the <br /> nf r ed- <br /> the Board that he did speak with Mr. Virgilio informing him that Mr. Murphy <br /> has received a copy of the bid proposal and that an estimate to repair pip- <br /> ing at the lagoons has not been received. <br />
