MINUTES October B, 1988 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> . Memo, Mr. Virgilio to Board of Health regarding composting - Mr. Virgilio <br /> was in -attendance and informed the Board that he has consulted with Weston <br /> Sampson in regards to composting and requested a limitation i n tete amount <br /> of days leaves may be accepted at the landfill . M . Virgilio also voiced <br /> his concerns wath the bags being left in the composting area, <br /> Mr. costa suggested Mr. Virgilio institute signage prohibiting plastic bags <br /> from the composting area, <br /> Mr. costa and Mr. Creel isle voiced their concerns with limiting iting the amount <br /> of days i-n- which disposal of leaves is pe rmi tab l . <br /> Mr. costa recommended Mr. Virgilio.-publicize the days in which leaves may <br /> be deposited at the landfill and the requirements of disposing of -pl ast i c <br /> bags <br /> 9, Memo,, Mr. Virgilio to Board of Health regarding Motor Pool - Mr. Virgilio <br /> stated the m et-ing is to discuss a town wide motor pool which will be <br /> located at the D.P.W. building. <br /> Mr. costa i reformed Mr, V i rg i l io that ,a member f rom th i s Board w i l l attend <br /> this meeting. <br /> ' S ' <br /> APPOINTMENT;T; rDorothy & Janes Yancey - Varia4nc request" for-proposed addition, <br /> Great Ne k Road <br /> Mr. & Mrs. Yancey were in attendance for this Variance request* <br /> Mr. Yancey explained to the Board that they are proposing to construct' <br /> a second level to the existing dwelling and commented the -number of bedroom <br /> ill remain the same. He stated the distance from the septic to the well is <br /> approximately B' 't o' and the system was installed about 28 years ago. <br /> Mr.. McQuaid voiced his concern with the lack of distance between the <br /> well and the existing septic -system. <br /> Mr. Costa recommended to Mr. & Mrs Yancey that the -relocation of the <br /> septic system would be the most feasible so-1 ut i on to maintain the required <br /> d i'stance from well to septic. <br /> Mr, Costa motioned to continue this -Variance request pending the appli- <br /> cant <br /> ppli- <br /> cant retaining and engineer to install a Title V septic system, once the <br /> applicant has secured .art engineering f i rm. t - install a Title V system the <br /> Variance request will be deemd withdrawn, Mr. Greelish seconded. <br /> 1 o. Memo from Executive secretary regarding Capital program request -- The <br /> Board acknowledged receiving the memo and forms. <br /> APPOINTMENT; Robert Bergman,, Ti-tle V Varianc'erequest for lot 9 Bayview <br /> Mr. B rgman, + repre e t.i ng the engineering firm of Holmes & McGrath) , <br /> was in attendance for the Vari-ance request. <br /> Mr. Bergman 1 nformed the Board that Bayview Avenue is a traveled way, <br /> which was approved by the Planning Board in 1984. <br />
