`-` MINUTES October 11 , 1988 2 BOARD of HEALTH <br /> r. cQua i d' informed the Bo'ar;d that the most recent water analysis -bests <br /> were conducted two years ago. <br /> Mr, Greelish suggested the homes thatare not randomly selected for <br /> V.O.C. testi g by the Government are i ven 'the opportunity to volun- <br /> tarily <br /> oIun- <br /> tarily submit their -water for testing and thE fees be waived. <br /> Mr. Costa commented that he will request more information, on an infor- <br /> mal <br /> nfor- <br /> al basis, from the Selectmen on Bri.arwoo , if no response i s received <br /> a more formal- request will be initiated. <br /> 11 .) McQuaid inform the Board that <br /> the developer has changed engineers and are submitting revised. sewer <br /> plans. e e l a i ned the road layouts have.. been ohanged_ anyd are now <br /> required to apply for a.' sewer eters ion .perm i t O, <br /> .The Board acknowledged receiving revised plans and will forward their <br /> comments once plans have been rry i ewed.., <br /> y <br /> 12. ) Copy, E.N.F. - Ma shpee Subreg i ona,l Wastewater Treatment Facility - her. <br /> McQuaid informed the :Board thatn the proposed` face l ity is comprised of <br /> two phases,. the first phase capacity holds o,000*'ga 1 Ions , the second <br /> will hold 25G, 0o gallons to encompass the three developments. <br /> Mr. Costa informed the Board that the study has been compiled to accomo- <br /> date the three developments, the additional holding capacity is for <br /> additional use to the town a-nd the remaining capacity is for possible <br /> future expansion. He commented that the Sewer Commission has voted to <br /> request the developers to provide ends to a donation account, this <br /> account will provide the opportunity for this Board to retain ars engi- <br /> neer to review their plans. <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated with the submittal of phase l our engineer should <br /> begin involvement with the facility. <br /> Mr. Costa recommended her. McQuaid forward to the Sewer Commission <br /> any questions or recommendations he may -have regardi-ng this project. <br /> Mr. Costas suggested a meeting with the Sewer Commission and this Board, <br /> as the progress of the facility :now requires the retaining of ars engi- <br /> neer* <br /> 13. Draft report Rehabilitation of Lagoons Appurtenances The Board <br /> acknowledged receiving the draft report. <br /> 14. ) Perc extension request, (Cape & Islands) , lot 1 , .,Route 28 Mr. McQuaid <br /> informed the Board that this is the first extension request. <br /> Mr. Costa motioned to grant a si -month perp extension as requested <br /> which shayll expire May 12, 1989, r. Gree l i sh seconded, all agreed <br /> 15.) Perc extension request, Cape & Islands) , Lot 2, Route 2 - Mr, McQuaid <br /> 'informed the Board that this' is the first extension request. <br /> Mr. Wilson motioned to grant a sic month p rc extension ass requested <br /> which shall expire May 12, 1989, Mr.. Gree l i sh seconded, al'I agreed. <br />
