Ser. of 0.0., - Mr. McQuaid informed the Board they are requesting an increase—of $1676.00 over last year's budget. Mr. Costa motioned to request a portion of monies from the' Town of i ash e's 1990 operating budget account in -the amount of $3126.00 for services pro- vi-ded to the Town for fiscal year 1990 by the Independent & Family Services of Cape Cod, Mr. Orxeelish seconded. 10. F.Y. 90 Funding request - C.C. Council on Al . - Mr. McQuaid informed the Board they are requesting monies for services to be rendered for .'- fiscal or -fis al year 1990 in the amount of $2500.00- and commented they have not requested an increase over iast years budget. Mr. Costa motioned to request a portion of monies from the Town of Mashpee's 1990 operating budget account in the amount of $2500.00 for services pro- vided ro- vide 'to the Town for fiscal year 1990 by the Cape Cod Council on Alcoholism, Mr. Greelish seconded. 11 . F.Y. 90 Funding request - Thorne Clinic - Mr. McQuaid informed the Board they are requesting an increase of 1050.00 over last year's budget. Mr. Costa commented it is understandable, with the rapid growth of the town, that an increase is requested and motioned to request a portion of monies:, from the Town of Mashpee's 1990 operating budget account in the amount of $2500.00 for services provided to the town for fiscal year 1990 by the Thorne Clinic, Mr. Greelish seconded. Mr. 0iatrelis explained -to the hoard they are proposing a gymnastics school , 601 x 80.1 with total square footage of 4800. He stated the building will be constructed of metal with wood siding and two bathrooms, handicap accessible. + Ms. Malone exp l a i ne,d to the Board hat ,no'day ca-re will -tale place on the premises, ages for the gymnastics clases will range from 2 to 18 years of age, classes- will not exceed 8 i nd i v i d ua-1 s. she stated two instructors will • teach classes will ,possible expansion to three. Mr. McQuaid informed the owners that the state Department of the Office for Children would be involved ire-certifying your gymnastics school , as you are teaching children under the 'age of s.i . - Mr. McQuaid quer i toned the owners as to 'the amount of individuals in the bu l i i n at on"e time.
