MINUTES December 5, 1988 3 BOARD of HEALTH 12. ) F.Y. 90 Budget review for Board of Health - The Board reviewed various accts within this department and discussion took place regardirig the temporary porary cl rk/typist position. The Board requested an additional 18 hr position be incorporated into the wage account for fiscal year 1990. APPOINTMENT: Doug Boyd : PU"rchdse Purchaseof copy machine Mr. Boyd explained to the Board the cost of the copy machine arid its capabilities. Mr. Gree l i s h requested Mr. Boyd obtain a maintenance contract from the company, in order to incorporate that fee into the overall . price of the copy machine. Mr. Costa stated this Board will request funds be--appropr-iated from the 1990 expense account to ncomp -ss payment for a new copy machine. Mr. Costa stated final budget preparations shall be reviewed at the next- regularly scheduled meeting. Mr. Costa requested Mr. McQuaid forward a memo to the Selectmen, informing them of this request for a greenhouse at the land fill . 14. Memo, from Exec. Sec. rxe. Hoyte : Implementation of Policy 1 (hazard- prone co-asta areas - -Mr. costa requested Mr. McQua i to forward a cope of this letter to the Sower Commission Chairman and to research this policy -and inform the Board of h i s findings. 17. ) Lot 2, Route- 2 - well l dr%illed without permit, Dimaggio - Mr. McQuaid informed the Board#that permission was -obtained from this Board to d i g a test well , •however a ell .permi4i was n t Fissued. r f r 9 d Mr. Costa stated Mr. DiMaggio is in violation and requested Mr. McQuaid to follow--up on the regulations' regarding violations. 18. ) Lot 24/388 Timberline Drive well drilled without permit, DiMaggio - Mr. McQuaid informed the Boar that the septic plan was approved by the Board of Health in 1986 and commented no septic or well permit was issued for this lot. Mr. Costa stated Mr, DiMagg i o is i,n violation and requested Mr. McQuaid to follow--up on the regulations regarding violations.
