McQuaid to inform the company <br /> of restrictions imposed for lagoon usage. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Warren Dairies - proposed clinic <br /> Mr.. Warren Dairies and Mr, Warren Berube were in atten- <br /> dance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr, Dairies presented an introductory letter to Board <br /> members which explains services and methods of treatment, <br /> Mr, Dairies explained their center is proposing to open <br /> three substance abuse and mental health clinics on Cape Cod. <br /> The organization is non-profit and has been in operation for <br /> treaty years. <br /> Mr. Costa questioned Mr, Dairies as to the reasoning be- <br /> hind it proposed location. <br /> Mr. Davies responded Mashpee is more centralized as op- <br /> posed to Falmouth or sandwich, A site bas .been approved in <br /> Warohan which will alleviate the influx of noon-Cape Cod <br /> residents* we expect to service loo people in a commercial <br /> facility located on Route 28 . security will be provided, <br /> their intent is to hire police details during the hours of <br /> dispensing. Local nurses and counselors will be hired t <br /> perform dispensing and counseling services, A masters decree <br /> and license will be required prior to hiring. <br /> Mr. Dairies stated, as of yet, he has not approached any <br /> other town departments. Approval has been received for fa- <br /> cilities in both Orleans and W. Yarmouth. Mro Davies stated <br /> they are required to be licensed by the Department of Public <br /> Health, Drug Enforcement Administration and the Food and Drug <br /> Administration. <br /> Mr. Costa questioned the referral -process <br /> Mr, Davies responded they do not advertise, referrals <br /> are made thr•u Physicians, courts and word of mouth. <br /> Ilk <br /> i <br />
