MINUTES February 1 , 1990 3 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> APPOINTMENT:TMENT: Attorney Kevin Kirraine re: Dolphin Bay <br /> Attorney Kirraine was in attendance for this scheduled <br /> appointment. <br /> Attorney Kirraine stated he had been informed by Mr. <br /> McQuaid, at a Selectmen's meeting, that it was suggested, as <br /> a condition precedent to committing this project to take <br /> place, his client be required to commit to the payment of <br /> $25,000. 00 for water line service to the Transfer Station. <br /> Mr. McQuaid explained if the town were not to grant the <br /> easement the Dolphin Bay project would remain in its current <br /> status until public water is supplied. In granting the ease- <br /> ment this allows the project to proceed. Town compensation is <br /> requested in the form of public water hook-up to the Transfer <br /> Station. <br /> Attorney Kirraine commented, as a part of this proposal <br /> his client is conveying 44 acres of land to the town in addi - <br /> tion to that they have already expended between $5, 000,00 and <br /> 10,000 .00 to engineer the redesign of Asher's Path and will <br /> fund 100% of the cost for construction of this realignment of <br /> Ash.er's Path at the cost of approximately $45,000.00 . <br /> Mr. Costa suggested costs for water hook-up be incurred <br /> by both the town and the developer. <br /> Attorney Kirraine stated he would consult with the de- <br /> veloper on this proposal . <br /> Discussion took place regarding the buffers, Attorney <br /> Kirraine stated he would consult with the Planning Board on <br /> this issue at their next meeting. <br /> i <br /> 5. ) Letter from Town Counsel re: MacDonald - Acknowledged <br /> . Copy of memo from Fire Chief re: ka ardous materials <br /> coordination - Mr. McQuaid recommended this Board schedule a <br /> meeting with Mr. Virgilio, Deputy Chief Baker and Chief <br /> Ridgeway to discuss hazardous waste removal * <br /> Mr, Costa requested lir, McQuaid to organize a meeting <br /> with Mr. Virgilio, Deputy Chief Baker, Chief Ridgeway and <br /> member- of the Board of Selectmen to discuss issues pertaining <br /> to hazardous waste removal. <br /> ' . ) Copy of school inspections - Mr. Evans informed the <br /> Board he has forwarded copies to the proper departments, <br />
