MINUTES March 8 , 1990 4 BOARD of HEALTH <br /> based on future public water hook-up, therefore some of the <br /> distances have been reduced fron the septic to house loca- <br /> tion, Mr, McQuaid informed the Board six lots have been sold <br /> and occupied with private wells, those lots have been pro- <br /> tected on revised plans. <br /> Mr. Costa explained to Mr. Gill there have been many de- <br /> lays with public water book-up. <br /> Mr. Gill presented a letter from Mr. Nate Ellis which <br /> contains dates of public water hook-up to the subdivision. <br /> Mr. McQuaid commented there were. public water delays in <br /> the Briarwood development which caused considerable hardship <br /> for some individuals wishing to build. Developers are rely- <br /> ing upon certain dates for public water, financially tbi s <br /> could become a burden if delays occur, <br /> Mr. Costa suggested the developer allow for the instal- <br /> lation of wells should delays occur. <br /> Mr, Greelish motioned to release "The Highlands" , for- <br /> merly "Rams ate+l , subdivision plan from the- restriction of <br /> well to septic separations as presented on revised plans <br /> dated March 8, 1990, #89139, septic and building permits will <br /> be issued, however no occupancy permit will be issued until <br /> public water is flowing to the dwelling, Mr. Doherty sec_. <br /> onded, all agreed. <br /> Mr, Costa requested Mr, McQuaid to forward a letter to <br /> the owners, currently residing within the subdivision, recom- <br /> mending public water hook-up once it becomes available. <br /> . Rest forwaiver from estic�id.�e. regulation, The Lawn <br /> Company - Mr, McQuaid informed the Board last year The Lawn <br /> Company did ,pay for their license and provided a list of <br /> their licensed operators, They are requesting a waiver of <br /> both the license fee and truck inspection fees based on the <br /> fact that they do not refill their trucks within the town. <br /> Mr, Greelish stated fees were instituted to include <br /> truck and equipment inspection for application. <br />
