Greelish, G , and John T. <br /> Doherty ( TD . <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING, IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE of <br /> TRANSCRIBING MINUTES ONLY. <br /> Mr. Stephen J, Greelish, Co-Chairman. <br /> 1 . ) Warrants signed. <br /> 2 , ) JTD motioned to accept the minutes of March 8, 1990 meet- <br /> ing, seconded by S ' . <br /> APPOINTMENT: JERRY MONAGHAN, RECYCLING COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN <br /> Mr. Monaghan granted to bring the Boardup-to-date on what the <br /> Committee has been working on so far: <br /> A. Is in the process of obtaining 55gals drums for the <br /> disposal of bags at the recycling bin area. Mr. <br /> McQuaid informed him of drums available from the <br /> Barnstable County fairgrounds, of which there are <br /> four left which are being held for us. <br /> B, Committee has been in touch with the Lions Club to <br /> clean up their recycling bin area and move it to our <br /> recycling area. <br /> We've looked at the landfill sign and feel that it <br /> should be dressed up to include information on the <br /> recycling program. <br /> Lee Dubin will be very acture in the education as- <br /> pect and is planning school demonstrations. <br /> Our meeting with the Brewster Recycling Committee <br /> proved not to be very fruitful other than being in= <br /> vit d to visit their actual recycling operation, as <br /> far~ as organization noes they seen to be not much <br /> further along than we are although they have at it <br /> for 10 years. <br /> F, A meeting has been scheduled for 3/21/90 with all <br /> the volunteers, to be bele at this office to discuss <br /> what we would like to have the volunteers actually <br /> do at the recycling site <br /> S G indicated for the time being this Board will handle <br /> the disposal of recyclables, since right now it will cost the <br /> Town to dispose of them. He further indicated his plan to <br /> contract with a company to set up a special dump ter at the <br />
