Doherty and <br /> George R. Costa <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART of THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE of <br /> TRANSCRIBING MINUTES <br /> Mr, Stephen J, Creel ish, Chairman <br /> 1. Warrants signed <br /> 2. Mr. Costa motioned to accept the minutes of May 31 , <br /> 1990, fir. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> 3 . ) - -notice to waterservice ap l_i ants &._.,_..memo to <br /> Nate Ellis - Mr , McQuaid relayed the Nater District has in- <br /> dicated they will cooperate in distributing the notice. In <br /> speaking with the State they did relay health hazards are <br /> minimal. <br /> Mr, Costa recommended the capping of all wells in the <br /> moratorium area. <br /> McQuaid responded neither this Board nor the water <br /> District <br /> at r- <br /> istrict can legally require disconnection of their private <br /> wells. This Board can only recommend private well capping, <br /> however State requirements will mandate the PlumbingInspec- <br /> tor, prior to water hook-up, inspect and verify there is no <br /> chance of cross contamination. <br /> Mr. Greelish recommended this Board consider, as part of <br /> the moratorium, a testing requirement for wells on a periodic <br /> basis. lair.
