Y - -J MINUTES June 21 , 1990 4 BOARD OF HEALTH f DeMoura it was learned the school nurse unintentionally dis- posed of the syringes at the landfill . Dr. DeMoura has sub- mitted a letter stating he will develop a procedure, accord- ing to State regulations, to dispose of the syringes. Dr. DeMoura also stated he will submit this procedure in writing to the Board when school reopens. Mr, Greelish stated he will contact Dr. DeMora and in- form. him the syringes must be disposed of in the prorman- ner immediately. Mr. Evans relayed that the Falmouth Hospital would ' ex- cept the discarded syringes at a nominal fee. Mr, Greelish recommended the janitorial staff be in- formed of the proper- procedure for disposal of medical waste. . Report from Town Clerk re __ Stickers - Acknowledged . Request for fee waiver - Farley -H Camp - Mr.. Evans relayed Farley 4-H Camp has submitted proof as a non-profit organization. Mr-, Costa motioned to waive the Food Establishment and Camp Ground fees for 1990 , Mr, Greelish seconded. . - Emergency repair certification - 32 Bearse Road - Mr. Evans rela► ed on inspection the system was found to be in failure* Board members forwarded their signatures to the "Emer- gency Repair Certification" foam. . Resubmittal of emergency repair plan MW 147 Shore Drive - ir. Evans informed the Board this repair plan was submitted and approved at a prior meeting, however when the repair work was initiated ground water was encountered at 31 , Mr. Costa motioned to authorize the emergency repair to continue, as presented on plan submitted by Mr* Robert Devilacgua, with the stipulation increase in habitable space will be prohibited, M .
