Board of Health rainutes, July '. 1990 <br /> IIa certificate of deposit in the amount of $1000.00 as . an As- <br /> surity Bond, Mr. Lopez informed the Board that his company <br /> "Waste-Away" has been approached by the Popponesset Beach <br /> Association to take over Labute's Disposal Service contract <br /> as B, .l. charges three tires what Laute was charging. He <br /> stated he has a DPU license and all required State permits. <br /> Mr. Lopez indicated his packer was full as he did not real- <br /> ize he would have to meet with the Board for licenseapprov- <br /> al . Mr, Lopez was made aware of the strict regulation that <br /> loads cannot be mixed between towns. Should this occur his <br /> license would be revoked. He was informed that our system is <br /> completely c mputerized and that we know exactly how Tauch <br /> Labute was bringing to Otis, therefore we would know if he <br /> suddenly was bringing more tonnage than expected. JTD warned <br /> him not to drop his year-round customers at the end of the <br /> sinter as this may result in non -renewal of his license. He <br /> was informed that we would ]nage to inspect his vehicle and <br /> affix a sticker to it and then he would have to go to Otis <br /> to have their- sticker affixed to the vehicle, JTD moved to <br /> approve the application, S G seconded, <br /> SJG asked Mr. Lopez to look into providing us with a 40 cu- <br /> bic yrder for used papers. Mr. Lopez discussed setting up a <br /> semi-trailer for people to walk into and drop off their <br /> 11bnewspapers. SG informed Lopez that we will be starting to <br /> separate glass before it enters into the bias shortly arta <br /> asked Lopez to work on disposal of glass also. Mr, Lopez <br /> agreed to submit a letter of proposal, to the Board. <br /> 7: 30 StephenColella, 36 bqy—view_ Road. Mr. Colella pres- <br /> ented a set of building plans dated 9/30/82 which he indi- <br /> cated were submitted to the Building Dept, and -approved by <br /> them in 1983 . He stated that he is not increasing the number <br /> of bedrooms, it will stay at three. He indicated that he is <br /> meeting with an engineer from Baxter & Nye this comingMon- <br /> day on site. He also presented to the Board a copy of the <br /> Building Permit dated 8/9/84 which previously was not on <br /> file.
