In order to follow up the Agent was directed to lo- cate the sample areas. This Board contacted the county to work out an arrangement for water analysis. Subsequently we received a letter form KVA indicating the samples were taken from a drainage a culvert on the Riverbend property ap- proximately- 2001 from the Rivers ecce and the vegetation be- tween the culvert and the river and the general lay of the land probably meant this was not a runoff consideration. We understood, from the nature of the drainage,, parking lot, buildings s and animals in the area where the readings could have cone from but were dismayed this sample was included, in a study reported to us at the time, as a river sample. Fur- ther investigation of the study gave the impression that there was less than studious data collection and assessment that samples were taken from opportune locations* It ap- pears, in an attempt to capitalize on this opportune sam- pling, that a valuable study may be discredited, Un ortu- nately this information was relayed to the newspapers, we had hoped to forward our feelings to the Planning Board and since the proposal was only in its draft stage, that another-
