' # i <br /> C <br /> ■ <br /> e � ` f <br /> MINUTES September 20 , 1990 8 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr, Gr eelish commented in the earlier phases of the <br /> study Dr. Kerfoot identified 53 of the site and the culvert <br /> was not one of them.. <br /> Dr. Kerfoot responded consultants reports have been us- <br /> ing the locations marked on the report as we use them. over <br /> the past five years, on the Iashpee River, station 2 is di- <br /> rectly above the Riverbend, station 3 is directly below <br /> Riverbend, which also appears in the Goldberg\ oiner- reports <br /> that they have with extensive information of sampling o n the <br /> River system. <br /> Mr. Greelish reiterated his earlier- comment stating in <br /> the first phase of the study Dr, Ker-foot specifically identi- <br /> fied 53 locations of areas of drainage off of road that are <br /> considered high probability of run-off. The culvert is not <br /> one of them. <br /> Dr. Kerfoot responded anywhere, where a road is close to <br /> the River is considered to be an area where run-off may eater <br /> River system. The culvert qualifies as such. <br /> r■. Greelish questioned how the locations were selected <br /> and requested Dr, Kerfoot to supply this information at a <br /> later date. <br /> Mr, Somerville commented the Shellfish Commission is in- <br /> volved in a sanitary survey of the Poppoesset Bay area, <br /> Santuit and Mashpee Rivers. Densely populated areas are <br /> their first consideration in site selection, Mr, Somerville <br /> informed the Board a copy of these test results will '-be made <br /> available t this Board <br /> Ir, Greelish stated this Board will follow-up on the' <br /> matter. <br /> Mr, Ferragamo recommended a final presentation between <br /> the Planning Board and Board of Health. <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> Mr. Ferragamo stated he will notify the Board of the <br /> date for final presentation. } <br /> 13 .
