Memo from executive Secretary to all dept's re: Employee of the month <br /> program - The Board acknowledged receiving the memo. <br /> 9. ) Discussion, follow-up on Human Services organization - Cir. McQuaid re- <br /> quested this discussion 'be continued until the next regularly scheduled <br /> meeting. <br /> Mr. GreeIish voiced his concern with the omission of a breakdown in human <br /> services to be provided. <br /> 10. Announcement of South Cape Advisory meeting, 2/27/89 at :30 @ Town Hall <br /> . Costa requested fir, McQuaid to obtain a copy of the revised plan and <br /> requested board mewers and Mr. McQuaid to attend this scheduled meeting. <br /> 1 % Possible participation announcement re: Cape Cod Employee Assistance <br /> Program - The Board will reserve their comment until reviewed. <br /> 12. ) Seminar announcement; Land Planning & Development, 4 - 4/3/89 in <br /> Sandwich - Mr. McQuaid requested that both health agents attend this <br /> seminar. <br /> The Board was in agreeane. <br /> 13. ) announcement: Chemical release 3/3/89 in Worcester - The <br /> Board atkno ledged receiving the conference announcement. <br /> 14. Conference announcement: Underground Storage Tanks , 4/4 - 4/5/59 in <br /> Sturbridge - The Board ackno—w-Fe-dged the conference announcement. <br /> 1 New England conference announcement: Environmental Protection - The <br /> Board acknowledged retei ing the conference announcement. <br /> 1 . Repair plan, Labate for Quilty, 29 Elizabeth Island Road -- lir. Costa <br /> requested the assistant health agent to institute requirements for <br /> repair plans and once reviewed by the board they will be adopted as a <br /> B.O.H. regulation. <br /> Mr. McQuaid nformed the Board that the existing system is in failure <br /> and upon inspection it. appears the cover of the cesspool has collapsed. <br /> Mr4 McQuaid explained that highwood water is supplied to abutting heves <br /> with exception of the lot to the rear of the property and further <br /> commented that the distance from proposed leaching pit to the existing <br /> well is 75 feet which requires a Title V variance. Mr. McQuaid stated <br /> the 100 foot requirement cannot be net as a distance of 20 feet must be <br /> maintained from the foundation to the pit. <br /> The Board was in agreeance that all abutters must be notified by cer- <br /> tified mail and a public hearing- scheduled. <br /> 7. Continued from earlier in the meeting - Copy of Lead Paint Analysis at <br /> Parks and Rec.. buil ling - County health Agent, Shaun O'Brien was in <br /> attendance to discuss this Matter, <br /> Mr. O' Brien stated the Executive Secretary,, Selectmen5 leasee' s of the <br /> b u i I d i ng , `the State and this Board have- been notified of the results of <br /> the lead paint analysis. <br /> I <br /> i <br /> 5 <br /> 4 <br /> I _ <br />
