Letter from Weston & Sampson re: composting Grant (Board member to <br /> Te- voted agent to. sign) - The Board authorized Mr. costa to repr,e- <br /> sent them as acting agent for the State Composting Grant. <br /> . costa stated Mr. Murphy forwarded his verbal authorization that <br /> enough monies were allocated thru town accounts to cover the initial <br /> cost of -the composting grant and further commented that this Board <br /> reserves the right to withdraw the application for the composting <br /> Grant prior to final eligibility. <br /> 10. Letter from Weston & s meso re: Lagoon Pehabi l itation work - The <br /> Board acknowledged receiving the- letter. <br /> . Letter from Weston & Sam sore re: Landfill b' -monthly inspection - The <br /> .Board approves of the inspection .conducted. <br /> 12. ) Letter from Rep. Roosevelt re: Update on recycling legislative act <br /> Mr. Greelish commented that he is in support of this bill however <br /> the summary omits is how the revenue is dispersed to the individual towns <br /> and stated he wu i d like to, see the State' s cooperation in .the commer- <br /> cial <br /> ommer-cial aspect of the project. <br /> t. <br /> 13. ) Newsletter, E. . I. - The Board acknowledged receiving the <br /> newsletter. <br /> 14. Seminar Announcement on Hazardous baste Disposal 2/28/89 in Hyannis <br /> The Board acknowledged receiving the Seminar notice.. Mr. costa re-. <br /> quested -Chief Ridgeway be notified of this Semina announcement. <br /> lip 15. Workshop announcement on "Groundwater and Wells" 3/115/89 -in Lakeville <br /> T-6:45-9:30 p.m, ) - Mr. costa requested fir. Evans to discuss with Mr. <br /> McQuaid who will be attending the upcoming seminars and workshops. <br /> 16. ) Workshop announcement on "Title V Supplement" 3/6/89 in Barnstable at <br /> :00 a.m. The Board acknowledged receiving the workshop announcement. <br /> 17. ) Variance request, ,Spohr, Lot 1 Hamblin Road - continued until Hea i th <br /> Agent McQuaid is in attendance. ----- <br /> 18. Septic permit extension request, Picclrillo# Popponesset Island Road Continued until Health Agent Mc. ia i d is in attendance.. <br /> 20. occupancy permit request - Waiver required, 15 Matchewuttah 'Road, Leo <br /> Huben - The Boar receiving a copy of the water analysis. <br /> Mr. Greet i s h motioned to grant the Variance from the .moratorium. area <br /> with the recommendations from this Board that the owner/tenant be supp- <br /> lied bottled water by D.E. *E. until.- such time as. town water is supplied <br /> t the site, Mr. costa seconded. Board memb rs forwarded their signa- <br /> tures to the waiver which shall be filed with the registry of deeds. <br />
