TOWN of MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> MEETING <br /> March 14, 1989 <br /> Meeting called to order at 5:00 p'.m. <br /> Members present : George R. Costa, Stephen J. Gree l i sh and Roland L. Wilson <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART of THE MEETING, IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRANSCRIBING <br /> MINUTES. <br /> M . George R. Costa, Chairman <br /> 1 . ) Warrants signed <br /> 2. Mr. Wilson motioned to accept the minutes of March. 6. 1989, Mr. Greel i sh <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> 3. variance request, Cape & Islands for Littleford, 1 Quashnet Road - Mr. <br /> McQuaid explained to the Board that the own rx" 'is proposing -to ins-tall. a � <br /> Title v system, as the existing system has expired. Mr, McQuaid stated <br /> the owner intends to relocate the well and approval from the Conserva- <br /> tion .Commission must be obtained duo to the close proximity of a - ran- <br /> berr bog. Mr.. McQuaid informed the Board there are no wells within <br /> 100' feet of the proposed system, however the owner is requesting a side- <br /> line <br /> ide- <br /> 1ine vari an'ce of 10 feet. <br /> Mr. Costa motioned to grant the sideline variance of 10 feet as requested, <br /> Mr. Gr ee l i sh seconded, all agreed. <br /> 4. ) Variance requests, Warwick, for Kerrigan, lets 4 & 5 Great Oak Road - <br /> M . McQuaid explained to the Board on plans submitted., that Great Oak <br /> Road, as it currently exists, passes thru the center of these -lots. <br /> Mr, McQuaid stated at some point in time the road will be straightened <br /> and commented the requests for permits would be indicative of the lots <br /> buildabil-ity status. <br /> Mr. Greelish} stated until this Bard has proper assurances that this <br /> issue h'as been rest i f i d, plans cannot be appr'o-ved <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to deny this variance request until such time <br /> as -the road- lay-out has been redesigned and approved, Mr. Costa sec- <br /> onded, all agreed. <br /> . Permit appl i ati-on' for grease ,trap, Mashpee Commons Mr. McQuaid <br /> informed the Board that D.E. .E'. previously -approved a limited amount <br /> of grease traps for phase I of the project and commented this proposal <br /> will not exceed the number .of restaurants approved in phase 1 . Mr. <br /> McQuaid stated this permit would constitute the fifth and last full <br /> scale restaurant in the first phase. <br />
