McQuaid in- <br /> ak formed the Board this variahce request is within the moratorium area <br /> and will require a V.O.C. test and waiver. Mr. McQuaid commented,, the <br /> applicant. is requesting a 50 foot variance from the Mashpee regulations <br /> of 150 feet from well to septic. <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to grant the 50 foot variance from well to septic <br /> as requested with the stipulation a v.o. * test is performed and the <br /> owner request a variance from the moratorium area and file a waiver with <br /> the Registry of Deeds, Mr. Wilson seconded, all agreed. <br /> . variance request,' well to septic, 33 Lisa Lane - lir. McQuaid informed <br /> the Board the applicant is requesting a 50 foot variance from the Iashpee <br /> regulations of 10 feet from well to septic. M . McQuaid suggested a <br /> new dep hole observation closer to the area of the proposed leaching <br /> pit be required as a stipulation to the variance. <br /> Nor. Greelish motioned to grant the 50 foot Variance ,with the stipula- <br /> tion <br /> tipula- <br /> tiori a new deep observation pit is created- closer to the area of the <br /> proposed leaching, Mr. Wilson seconded, all agreed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Executive Secretary, Phase II & III Hydro-Geo study <br /> Mr. costa stated he did speak with Weston & Sampson in regards to Phase <br /> III Hydrological Study and requested a new contract be drawn up once D.E.Q.E, <br /> has forwarded their written comments. Mr. Costas stated once the contract is <br /> drawn up this Board will consult with the selectmen for final discussion:-- <br /> Mr. Murphy tated he would like to attend a Board of Health meeting, <br /> once a month , to address issues pertinent to both the selectmen's office and <br /> Board of Health. <br /> Mfr. costa addressed 'the issue of homeowner' s in the Briarwood and Tri- <br /> town 'area ' s that., are not currently receiving bottled water and commented this <br /> Board would like to be involved in communications between the National Guard <br /> and Board of selectmen. fir. costa stated this Board was in receipt of a letter <br /> from a homeowner in the .Tr i"town ariea 'who was questi-oning how the town deter- <br /> mined the eligibility status of water recipients in the contaminated areas. <br /> Mr. costa commented to Mr. Murphy that a memo was ,forwarded to the Selectmen's <br /> office along with copy bf the homeowners leder; requesting their assistance <br /> in thiS matter, however a response `was never received. <br /> Mr. Murphy requested a copy ,of this mono ,'.be forwarded to ,.h i s� office at <br /> which time tie wi.11 bri n � th'i s mattter up with the 8 lectmen. <br /> Mr. Costa discussed the natter of discrepencies found in the issuance <br /> of l'a ndf i l l stickers at the D.P.W. building. <br /> Mr. Murphy informed the Board he would research this matter. <br /> Discussion took place regarding stickers for the Transfer Station, Mr. <br /> Costa discussed the possibility of i ss i ng _-ti,ckets ; -the tickets would be per- <br /> forated in order to keep accurate records. <br />
