McQuaid <br /> explained„ , o the Board that he regularly inspects the areas. <br /> Mr. costa stated he will research this matter further. <br /> . copy of classified ad re: Lifeguards - The Board acknowledged re- <br /> ceiving the memo. <br /> 10. ) Seminar announcement, .E.q.E. , 4/25/89, 9-3, Lakeville Mr. McQuaid <br /> suggested both filth Agents attend this seminar. <br /> The Board was in agreeance. <br /> 1 1 . copy of letter to and from charlotte St i efe l : Underground Storage <br /> Tanks - Mr, costa requested a -copy of the. letters Ms. St i efe l intends <br /> to forward. <br /> Mr. Greelish recommended an article . e ,ptaced in the to al newspapers <br /> stating if an appropriate -level of compliance is not achieved for reg- <br /> istration <br /> eg- <br /> istrution of the underground storage 'tanks then more stringent steps <br /> will - be taken to locate those indiiduals. 4 <br /> r � <br /> Mr. costa requested Mr. Greelish to compose: a letter stating the move <br /> mentioned and he will forward this to the newspapers for publication. <br /> 12. Variance request, cape & islands for Sullivan, 36/37 Daniels Island <br /> Road - Short Pit - Mr. McQuaid informed t-he Board ground water was <br /> found at 8 feet, therefore a 'x 1 pit is unfeasible and explained the <br /> engineer is requesting to install a 131V pit. Mr. McQuaid stated the <br /> eng i neer- i n•tends to install a primary and reserve tanks with a bull- <br /> run <br /> ull- <br /> run valve which would, in his opinion, service the system adequately. <br /> Mr. McQuaid forwarded his recommendations that the system be approved <br /> with the stipulation ground level is adjusted if necessary. <br /> The Board was in agreeance and upon notion duly made b, Mr. Greeish <br /> and seconded by Mr. costa voted unanimously to grant the variance as <br /> requested with the stipulation ground water level i adjusted if <br /> necessary. <br /> 113. variance request, Winslow Heights, 98 Dixon Drive - We'll to septic. <br /> distance Mr. McQuaid informed the Board the owner is requesting <br /> a 301 variance between well and septic and relayed to the Beard that <br /> water lines have been l a ed, in this s ubd i v i s i o-n, for future town <br /> water hook-up. <br /> 4 <br /> Ir. Greelish motioned to grant the o' variance from the Mashpee reg- <br /> ul•ations requiring 150' from well to septic , as requested, Nor. costa <br /> seconded. <br /> 14. Variance request, addition, Goulet on Monomoscoy Road Mr . McQuaid <br /> explained to the Board that a 1 ,000 gallon Title' V Title' system with flow <br /> diffusors was installed in 1979. He stated the existing system was <br /> installed to accomodate daily flow of 227 gallons and commented this <br /> is a two bedroom dwelling which leaves an excess capacity of 7 gallons. <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed to the Board the owner i.s increasing exis•ti.n.g ,bed- <br /> room space -with -the addition. of one bathroom. <br />
