TOWN of MASHPEE BOARD of HEALTH i July 20, 1989 Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present: George R. Costa, Stephen J. Greelish and john T. Doherty THE TAPE I3 NOT PART of THE MEETING. IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE of TRANSCRIBING MINUTES. Mr. George R. Costa, Chairman 1 . Warrants signed . ) Mr. Doherty motioned to accept 'the minutes of July 13, 1989, Mr. Gree l i s h seconded, all agreed. 3. Signatures to modification of contract document - The Board forwarded their signatures to the modified contract document. (Mr. Doherty stepped down for the modified contract signing. ) 4.) Request from Superintendent of Shoo.i s to transport rubbish to Transfer Station - Mr. McQuaid informed the Board the school intends to transfer the rubbish via pick-up truck and e p l aped 807o of -the trash is paper goods the remaining 0% will come from the cafeteria. Mr. Greelisn suggested -this issue be kept on bold until he researches- the amount of paper goods to be discarded. Mr. McQuaid stated the town would benefit from the school hauling to the landfill as it would be less expensive than firing a private hauler. Mr. McQuaid explained that the schools contract estimate has almost tripled compared to on', es allocated for last years rubbish removal .
