MINUTES July 20, 1989 BOARD of HEALTH <br /> Y <br /> 14. ) Memo from Personnel re: Longevity - The Board acknowledged receiving <br /> - the memo. <br /> 1 . Membership application to Health Resource Center of cape cod - r. <br /> Evans recommended the Board apply for membership. <br /> The Board was in agreeance. <br /> 16. ) Variance request, Cape .& Islands for Drew Realty, Lot 5 Tide Run fir. <br /> McQuaid informed the Board wetlands verification was received from the <br /> Conservation Commission and commented the applicant is requesting <br /> Variances from the primary leaching facility to the edge of wetlands,- and <br /> reserve area to wetlands. Nor. McQuaid explained the owner will hook u <br /> to High Wood later, the lot is within the A.c.E.c. area and ground water <br /> elevation is adjusted. Mr. McQuaid commented the Conservation Commission <br /> now requ i res .the' i n toll apt i on of a septic pit for swimming pools. Mr. <br /> McQuaid forwarded his rec mmendatidn that Variance requested be approved. <br /> M . McQuaid stated an "order ofConditions" must be obtained from D.E.Q.E. . <br /> Mr.' Greelish commented he would recommend the engineer forward more accu- <br /> rate i nf o r mat i oria nd motioned to continue this request until this info r- <br /> ma t i.on, is providied, Mr. Doherty seconded, a 11 ag reed, <br /> or <br /> 17. ) Rev' iss d' ubd i i s i ons plan, Holmes & McGrath'; for M. MacDonald, Moody <br /> Pond Knoll" - Mr. McQuaid stated revised plans indicate septic 1 oca- <br /> r tions however plans do not indicate a public water supply. Mr. McQuaid <br /> commented wetlands are delineated on plans and M.D.C. drains are pro- <br /> posed, <br /> Mr. costa requested Mr. McQuaid to notify the owner that plans submitted <br /> are inadequate as the water source is not indicated. <br /> 18. ) Summons to U.S. District court re: Pesticide Regulation - Mr. McQuaid <br /> informed the Board he did consult with Town counsel who relayed he would <br /> review the summons and contact the Board at a later date. <br /> *****NEW E BUSINESS***** <br /> Commercial Sticker request -- New eabury <br /> Mr. McQuaid i nforined the Board New Seab'ury is requesting permission to <br /> haul household -trash to the i andf i l l/transfer station, as well as , a commer- <br /> cial sticker in which to dispose of white goods and landscape debris. <br /> Mr. costa commented New eabury will be required -to either obtain a <br /> sticker from the Board -of .Health and Otis or hire a private hauler. <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to issub a commerci l sticker to New Seabury <br /> which shall be limited to the hauling of -white good .and landscape materials, <br /> 1r. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> Mr. Gree i i sh motioned to deny the request for a landfill/transfer station <br /> residential sticker,, Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br />
