MINUTES September 28, 1989 5 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> * Costa relayed that Weston & Sampson did review the specifications <br /> for the school , the design and e1ectric.al grounding. <br /> Dr. Deoura stated as special Town Meet i ng is approaching i t is assumed <br /> that the present protocol will continue- throughout the school year, in order <br /> for this to continue monies must be allocated. <br /> Dr. Delura questioned the Board as to whether the existing protocol <br /> could be maintained but allowing portions of the school to be turned on. <br /> Mr. Costa responded this could not be possible as the source has not <br /> been locate . <br /> Dr. Deoura "informed the Board.funds required for the remaining school <br /> year total $76,000.00. <br /> Mr McQuaid relayed he spoke with Town Counsel who 're ommends -that the <br /> Board of Health_apply for the extra money, for engineering and a.1so recommends <br /> once this Board reviews the report that copies be forwarded to -the Selectmen, <br /> Superintendent of Schools, Chairman of the School Committee, Chairman of the <br /> school Buiidin Committee and the Architects. . McQuaid stated ewr Counsel <br /> suggests this Board hold a public meeting with the School Committee, Superin- <br /> tendent. - County and the State Department of Water Supply once the thirty days <br /> of sampling results are in and will confirm to the parents and concerned citi- <br /> zens that the water is safe to drink. <br /> Dr. Deoura questioned the Board as to whether they would co-sponsor <br /> the article for additional funds. <br /> Mr. Costa stated this Board would co-sponsor the article. <br /> Being no further business Mr, Doherty motioned 'to adjourn at 10:00 p.m. ',, Mr. <br /> Costa seconded. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Veronica Warden, Principal Clerk <br />
