McQuaid informed the Board he is sti awaiting the second round <br /> of comments from Weston and Sampson to D.E.P. <br /> Mr. Costa stated the Board will review the study for comment at the <br /> net scheduled meeting. <br /> 4. ) Response from Weston & Sampson to D.E.P. questions : Pilot Study - <br /> The Board will review along with the Septage Trmt. Plant Study. <br /> . Letter from L. Lapio's attorney re: Horse Stable - Mr. McQuaid relayed <br /> to hoard members that he will meet with Town Counsel tomorrow to present <br /> him w i-th a Copy of this letter and request his recommendations as to <br /> what procedures should be taken at this point in time. <br /> The Board was in argreeance, <br /> . Response from D.E.P. re: andida' s residential kitchen - Mr. McQuaid <br /> explained, Ms. Bowe was informed,..after meeting with this Board, 'that <br /> she receive approval from D.E.P. for her private well as a water source <br /> for her res i den- i a l• I i tehe . Mr. McQuaid ep l a i ned, at the Board' s <br /> suggestion he forwarded a letter to Mr. Day i an at D.E.P. indicatin this ■ <br /> Boards stand and requested his input. The response did indicate that <br /> questions regarding this issue should be addressed to the Department of <br /> Public health. Mr. McQuaid stated in Contacting the department of public <br /> health they did state they are i•n the process of adopting new regulations <br /> governing bed & breakfast establishments and residential kitchens but the <br /> issue of a water supply was omitted from their consideration. It is -thei <br /> opinion, as long as, this red'i deme: , prepared only non-hazardous food <br /> that -the question--.of awater supply should not be an issue, as long as , <br /> the local health board monitors it similarly as food service establish- <br /> ments which is once every three months. <br /> ti <br />
