a <br /> • MINUTES October 26, 1989 3 BOARD of HEALTH <br /> Mr. Do e rty motioned to grant the commercial sticker as requested with <br /> .the stipulation Mr. Crimmins pay the commercial sticker fee of $125.00 <br /> for 1989, the 1990 sticker will be issued free of charge, Nor. Greelish <br /> seconded, al l agreed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Bruce Murphy - Variance request, 10 Pine Grove Circle, (Hatt) <br /> Mr. Bruce Murphy and Cir. Everett Hatt were in attendance for this Variance <br /> request., <br /> Ir. Hatt explained that the boundaries of sandwich and Mashpee do pass <br /> thru his lot. Sewerage -will be located on the ahpee side of the lot, the <br /> well will be located on tine Sandwich side. <br /> . Evans stated he did perform.the perk test. <br /> Mr., Murphy commented the owner is proposing to construct a full f unda- <br /> ti-on as opposed to the existing piles. - The dwelling will be- moved further <br /> away from the property line, the number~ of bedrooms will remain the same. <br /> 1 . Murphy explained the existing system will be upgraded to Title- , a new <br /> well will be installed, as well as, a new well for the abutting property. <br /> Mr. Murphy stated Mr. Hatt is in' rxe eipt a letters from both abutters stating <br /> no objection to the proposed variances. <br /> Mr. Greelish questioned Mr. Hatt as to whether town water~ is available. <br /> Mr. Hatt stated there is town -water on Pimlico Pond Road. however during <br /> many' dis us io s between Mashpee and Sandwich it -was determined that b i1ding <br /> permits -must- be pulled from the town that the front door faces. <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to grant the variances as requested, Mr. Doherty <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> { <br /> 1 .. Explanation of "illegal-dumping" articles - The Board agreed with .the <br /> explanation. <br /> 1 ., Letter .from Asst. Harbormaster re: Article 35 - Mr. Richard Halpern <br /> was in attendance to discuss this ratter. <br /> Mr. Halpern discussed his concern with illegal dumping in private dump- <br /> sterxs and requested an amendment to article 35. <br /> Mr. Greelish stated there is a mechanism to deal with this in Board of <br /> Health regulations rxe a rd i rig commercial source debris. <br /> Mr. Halpern also discussed the issue of including the Harbormaster as <br /> enforcement officer in article 36. <br /> Ir. Greelish stated the Harbormaster is an enforcement authority and is <br /> not required in that article. <br /> i r.
