MINUTES December 7. 1989 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Greelish requested Mr. McQuaid to research this matter with the <br /> Town Accountant and Town Treasurer. <br /> o. Memo from agent re: Fee schedule - Mr. McQuaid stated he would like <br /> to revise the fee schduie for retail food establishments to read; foot- <br /> age over 2,000 square feet will be charged $10.00 per thousand square <br /> feet. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to amend the fee shcedule as follows : Retail Food <br /> Establishment fee $100.0012000 square feet, additional footage $10.00 <br /> per 1000 square feet, Mr. Greelish seconded. <br /> Discussion took place regardin the amount of food products being sold <br /> from Dunnington Drug and liquor stones within the town. <br /> Mr. McQuaid recommended Dunnington Drug secure a retail food pemr i t <br /> for calender year 1990. <br /> Mr. Oreelish requested Mr, McQuaid to research permits required for <br /> liquor stores and what inspections take place by the Alcoholic Beverage <br /> Commission. <br /> Board members were in agreeance to require Dunnington Drug Store to <br /> secure a retail food permit from this Board. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Arrow Engineering - Variance request - 57 Timber lane Drive <br /> k <br /> Mr. Patrick Coffey and Mr. George Thorne were in attendance for this <br /> schedu.i ed appointment. <br /> Mr. Caffey informed the Board he 'i s in thev process of securing a var- <br /> ira nce from the Board of Appeals-to build within D feet of the wetlands. <br /> Mr. Coffey stated the owner is proposing to expand the dwe l,l i rig, abutters <br /> have. not objected to the proposed expansion., This is a six* bedrxoom home <br /> currently listed in" assessor ' boobs as a three bedroom hone. The system is <br /> currently run on an ejector system, proposals include a 1500 gallon tank loca- <br /> ted i n ,the driveway area <br /> Mr. McQuaid expressed his concerns with the proposed septic system, and . <br /> its close proximity t - antuit Pond as the pond has been a topic of concern <br /> over the past few years. Mr. McQuaid recommended the engineer submit pians <br /> to D.E',P. for their ejector pump apprava 1 prior -to this Board' s considera- <br /> tion. <br /> onsidera- <br /> tion. <br /> Mr. McQuaid commented that pians presented indicate an 8 bedroom d ell- <br /> i ng�, 4 bedrooms in the basement arra and 4 on the upper levels. McQuaid <br /> stated if eight bedrooms are proposed substantial revisions will be required. <br /> prion to re-submittal befo-re this Board <br /> Mr# Greelish questioned Mr. McQuaid as to what Title V requirements would <br /> be required if the basement bathroom were eliminated. <br /> Mr. McQuaid responded, if two shallow pits were installed or increase <br /> the existing pit with more stone, to accomodate 8 bedrooms, the distance to <br /> the existing well would be decreased from 102' to at or less -than 100' which <br /> would require this Board' s consideration at a more stringent level . <br />
