I ,
I
hall. He is here for the Ultimate Edibles appointment.)
Ms. Warden continued the discussion by stating that the new owners where going
to rake some minor changes. However, everything was going to stay the same as
it is now. She did the inspection and found no major violations. All the BOH
members would be doing is granting a new license to Mr. Richardi b Carbo's
Bar & Grille.
Mr. Fall so moved.
IVIS. warden stated that the only issue that it is the sane situation of Best Buy.
David Carbono is still in ownership for another month.
Ir. Harrington stated that they are operating under Carbo's permit. They both
met with him and he was not changing anything. So what they did internally is
allowed there to stay open until the BOH met tonight using the inspection as his
temporary permit.
Mr. Ball made a motion to grant the request. Mr. Santos seconded the motion.
Motion passed.
APPOINTMENT: Ultimate Edibles
Mr. Michael F rlani was Present in order to discuss the fact that he failed to
obtain the ServSafe-course as was required by law. Mr. Furlarri offered a number
of differing reasons as to why he failed to comply. He stated that both he and his
wife where going to participate in the course being given in February of 2002. He
was requesting a temporary food permit until the course is taken and passed.
Ms. 'warden confirmed that the next course was being given in February and
would need a six-reek variance request.
Mr. Ball agreed with the six-week variance request. He made a motion to grant
this variance. Mr. Santos seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Mr. Doherty continued by stating that he couldn't help but take the opportunity
to say shame on you for taking so long to complete this course. He was looking at
all of the dates that were offered last year. Mr. F rlani should have taken enough
interest in it to obtain the certification himself without relying on somebody else.
He should know what the "help" is like on the Cape.
Mr. F rla.nl agreed with Mr. Doherty and couldn't offer any further explanation of
his situation. He then stated that there was one more thing. He asked Mr.
Harrington if the catering permit application was automatically sent to him. He
didn't know what to do.
Ms. Warden stated that the catering permit has been ars issue for his particular
situation. 'Where has been ars issue in the past.
Mr. Frlani asked if Mr. Harrington if he should call Mitt to discuss this further.
8
