The BOH had already <br /> granted a permit for that piece of property and it was not required at that <br /> point in time. It is just a bonus for the BOH. It is certainly at their <br /> expense not at the BOH's. They didn't care whether they put it at this <br /> system or that system. The motion would read that the BOH granted the <br /> variance for the installation of the denitrification system on house <br /> number 50 Popponesset Island Road without specifying the house or the <br /> boathouse. <br /> Mr. Maffucci asked if they should specify the use of the system. <br /> Mr. Doherty replied that they could use it however they wanted. <br /> Mr. Maffucci wanted to make sure that they were not going to get into <br /> any trouble. <br /> Mr. Doherty stated that essentially they were giving them a little <br /> flexibility. So that if you get over to Conservation and somebody says this <br /> system has got to have more flow and we'd rather see it with this one. No <br /> problem then the BOH has already approved that. <br /> Mr. Maffucci confirmed that the BOH gave them more than they needed. <br /> Mr. Slavinsky stated that Ron Gangemi could come in tomorrow morning <br /> and pull this permit to install the septic system. <br /> Mr. Doherty confirmed that that was correct. He was not ignoring Mr. <br /> James E. Sandier's letter attached to the Conservation Commission. <br /> However, they don't apply to the BOH's position in this matter. They are <br /> zoning and building issues. While they may be legitimate, that is <br /> something to take up with the building inspector. This is the BOH and not <br /> the "shadow zoning board." <br /> Mr. Ball commented that he had made the motion. Would Mr. Santos <br /> second it? <br /> Mr. Doherty asked if Ms. Warden if she had concerns that needed to be <br /> addressed. <br /> Ms. Warden initially stated no.
