Mr. Santos made a motion to approve. Mr. Ball seconded the motion. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> A. Renional Wastewater Implementation Committee Memo <br /> Ms. Warden confirmed that office of the town administrator was advising <br /> the BOH that they appreciated Mr. Doherty volunteering to be on the <br /> committee however, his services would note be needed as they felt that <br /> a member of the Sewer Commission would be better suited to serve on <br /> this committee. <br /> Memo noted by the BOH members. <br /> B. The Sweet Retreat Variance from the Food Code Regulation <br /> Ms. Warden began by stating that they had been before the board in the <br /> past. They have decided to participate in a ServSafe Certification. <br /> therefore, they would like permission to operate their facility until the <br /> certification has been completed. <br /> Mr. Santos asked why they hadn't accomplished this to date. <br /> Ms. Warden stated that they had tried to sell this property and failed. <br /> They decided to continue operating the facility. <br /> Mr. Ball made a motion to grant the variance from the food code <br /> regulation. They are temporarily permitted until completion of and <br /> certification in the ServSafe program, which is to begin on April 2"", 2002. <br /> Mr. Santos seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> A. Budget Fiscal Year 2003 <br /> Ms. Warden began by stating that the other the finance committee <br /> wreaked havoc on all of the budgets. They cut the BOH again. <br /> The BOH members continued to discuss the options regarding the budget <br /> cuts and a plan of action to address this issue. The BOH will ask for a <br /> hold on the line items. They will get up on the floor and address each of <br /> these issues. <br /> Mr. Ball made a motion to cut the landfill cost from $50,000.00 to <br /> $40,000.00. Mr. Santos seconded the motion.
