Ball, Glen E. <br /> Harrington and Veronica Warden. <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING: IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. John Doherty, Chairman <br /> 1. Sign Warrants. <br /> Warrants signed. <br /> 2. Approve minutes of February 21, 2002. <br /> Minutes were completed but not fully reviewed. Therefore, they were <br /> not ready for approval. <br /> 3. Emergency Certifications: <br /> 7 Leeward Lane <br /> Mr. Harrington indicated that there was a surcharged leaching pit. Along <br /> with evidence of overflow and surcharge at the D-box. This is a 3- <br /> bedroom residence. There is an existing 1500-gallon septic tank. The <br /> intent is to install two 500-gallon chambers with 4' of stone. There will <br /> be 355 gallons per day. The wells are greater that 100 and less than 150 <br /> on the surrounding properties. The only variance is going to be the <br /> Sykes well. All of the abutters are far enough away. <br /> The Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency <br /> Failure Certification form. <br /> 4. Variance Request: Title V Upgrade, 15 Cranberry Avenue, O & M <br /> Approval <br /> Dave Mason was present representing the applicants for the above <br /> captioned address. Mr. Mason was requesting a variance from BOH <br /> regulation #56, which prohibits mounded systems and requests the <br /> variance with the proposed alternative septic system design. <br /> Mr. Ball made a motion to approve the request for the FAST system <br /> along with the variance from BOH regulation #56 along with an O & M <br /> approval. The system will be installed under general use. Mr. Santos <br /> seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br />
