Mr. Doherty stated that unfortunately what happens is that if your name
is on it then it is your responsibility. She just couldn't state that well I
gave it to my friend to take it to the dump and expect to have no
responsibility. It is still her responsibility. Mr. Doherty stated that her
options where to pay the fine and the town will clean it up or she could
make arrangements to clean it up* Nobody ever does it themselves.
Ms. costa replied that she would rather pick it up herself. She could not
afford $300.00. It was something that she didn't do.
Ms. Warden advised her to call the Boli within two weeks and they would
take her out to the site. She gave IVIS. costae a.business card.
Mr. Ball made a motion to continue the issue for two weeks contingent
upon Ms. costa contacting the BOH to rake arrangement to pick it up.
Mr. Santos seconded the motion. Motion passed.
i
APPOINTMENT: Cape & Islands 12 Bay Road
Mr. David Sanicki from cape & Islands was present representing the
applicant on this property. He began by stating that Mr. Jurick has
well within his limited property of 4,0001. They had an inspection of his
septic system by pushing a rod up through and finding his cesspool on an
abutting property. The house is there with a full basement and a full
basement under the porch too. They have to contend with the wetlands
and the coastal bank. The coastal bank comes in more as you look to the
left of the plan. There is a state minimum of 501 to the leaching facility.
He is cramming it in.the front yard zero feet to the street line, seven to
j the property line and four feet to the full basement. There isn't much that
he could do. There was nowhere else that he could put it. 1f someone
else has a better idea of what to do, good luck. There is town water out
there.
Mr. Ball started that Mr. Sanicki had done the best he could from the looks
of the plan in front of him. He then asked if the bedroom count was going
to stay the same.
Mr. Herrington stated that he had one comment to add. The assessor had
it as one bedroom. He would like something to clarify how many
bedrooms there are in the residence.
Mr. sanic i replied than the assessor has it as a one bedroom. But,
upstairs is like a bunk bedroom with sit beds. The state requires that you
have to have three-bedroom system as a minimum. It is the minimum
system. He has squeezed it in.
15
