Mr. Ball rade a motion to approve the following revisions: A Use the <br /> existing 1000-gallon septic tank as a pump chamber. B Pump up to a <br /> 15001500 gallon two compartment septic tank. c The leaching facility <br /> remains unchanged. This approval was conditional upon the inspection of <br /> the facility by Mr. Leo .dolly and the confirmation that the upstairs <br /> bathroom could net be re-directed to the front of the lot. Ms. Grady <br /> seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> DISCUSSION: <br /> A. Board of Health Policy E: Temporary Food stands <br /> The BOH members reviewed the revised Temporary Food stands' policy <br /> as presented by IIIb. Harrington. The BOH members noted the previously <br /> requested corrections that had been made in the policy. Mr. Ball made a <br /> motion to approve the "Temporary Food stands" policy. Nis. Grady <br /> seconded the motion. Motion passed. The board members forwarded their <br /> signatures to the new policy. <br /> B. Board of Health Policy ISE: Demolition of structures <br /> The BOH members reviewed the "Demolition of structures" polio as <br /> presented by Mr. Harrington. Mr, Farrington had attended a MOHA <br /> conference on housing in Worcester. He returned with a policy that the <br /> Town of Brookline uses for this particular purpose. The Town of Mashpee <br /> did not have a policy regarding this issue, He felt that it would be in the <br /> town's best interest to have one in place in case of future necessity. He <br /> wanted the Boil members to review the suggested policy and respond. <br /> Ills. Warden wanted to knew if this was going to be a regulation.. <br /> Mr. Harrington responded-that that was up for discussion. These were <br /> requirements for the town of Brookline but he didn't see them writing this <br /> as a regulation. But they could certainly do this as a regulation as the <br /> BOH so chooses. <br /> Ms. warden stated that she didn't understand the use of the word i <br /> requirement". Usually they were cut and dry on the policy or regulation <br /> not a requirement. <br /> Mr. Harrington responded that they were requirements as far as what they <br /> have to shover the BOH before they can demolish the house. <br /> IVIS. Warden asked if it didn't then have to be a regulation. <br /> Mr. Harrington stated that that was fine. <br /> IVIS. Warden stated that she has newer seen that term used.
