at the Mashpee Commons. He didn't think there were any carts outside of
the arranged functions. He had never seen a permanent structure out
there outside of a specific function.
Mr. Harrington reiterated that those were his concerns. He wanted to
make the board aware that there was a larger picture and there would be
other requests. They needed to keep that in mind. This was one cart that
is set up to do exactly what it does. It is set up to have a clean station
where there is hot and cold water available.
Mr. Wells continued by stating that there are two NSF approved cooling
compartments for the food that is waiting to be cooked can be kept under
40 degrees. "Applicants who request a permit to
serve or sell food from an outdoor booth, table or cart for more than 14
days will not be approved. Also applicants who request to operate a
temporary booth, table or cart, which would be operating in conjunction
with a single event or celebration will not be approved...The Board of
Health in any particular case may vary this requirement."
Mr. Harrington replied that that was the request that Mr. Ball made to the
policy.
Mr. Wells stated that that was the radarscope he was hoping to get under.
Mr. Ball stated that originally he wouldn't have even been here.
