Mr. Harrington began by stating that town water was available. But, they
cannot make their neighbors connect up.
Mr. Santos asked if all five variances were just to wells.
Mr. Harrington replied that that was correct and they were all over 1001.
Mr. Bail made a motion to grant the following variances requested: 1)
Leaching trench to well lot 54 49.61; 2) Leaching trench to well Lot 66
49.31; 3) Leaching trench to well lot 56 32.01; 4) Leaching trench to well
lot 48 16.01; 5) Leaching trench to well lot 49 8.31. Hilliard II
Ms. Warden stated that she had national certification and in our
regulation you have to have that or the equivalent of eight years of
experience. The last thing that Ms. Hilliard sent in dates back to 1993.
She had her eight years. Ms. Warden and Mr. Harrington recommend that
the BOH grant her a massage license.
Ms. Grady asked if the certification came from the Catherine Hinds
Institute of Esthetics. Did she have to take a test?
Mr. Harrington replied that there is a national exam. But, she did not fax
that certification. If they do not have the national exam they revert back
to the years of experience, which she does have with the 8 years. His
question was that she was a grade seven esthetician. Her point was that
an esthetician consists of a massage requirement. That is not true. But,
she still has by experience enough time in with the 8 years of massage.
Ms. Grady made a motion to grant a massage license to Ms. Judith
Hilliard. Mr. Ball seconded the motion. Motion passed.
OLD BUSINESS
NEW BUSINESS:
A.
