Mr, Santos asked them to confirm when they had to be out of their rental.
Mr. Pike stated that they were hoping to be out by Tuesday, assuming that
the occupancy inspection went all right. Their long-terra rental went to a
weekly rental with summer rates. The seven-month bill has turned into a
twelve-month rental.
Mr. Harrington suggested that they grant the Pikes their compliance and
occupancy permit while pursuing enforcement issues with the installer.
IIIb. Santos agreed to grant a variance on behalf of the Pikes. The BOH
would recognize the as built from the engineer without the benefit of
having the as built from the installer. The compliance and occupancy
permit will be granted with the condition being that the health went
would pursue enforcement of the town's regulations with the installer .
until he is properly licensed and had paid for all permitting fees inclusive
of the as built card for 32 surrey Place. Failure to do so within in two
weeks time would result in a $300.00 per day fire. Ms. Grady seconded
the motion. Motion passed.
APPOINTMENT: Cape & Islands Enq1neerin-q 129 Paddock Circle
Mr, Harrington began by stating that this was a straightforward request
that did not require the presence of a representative from cape & Islands
Engineering, The request is to use the re-circulating sand filter. The
monitoring plan is set by the state. Cape & Islands Engineering did the
plan. But, Chris costa did the technology. They've seen a million of Mr..
Costa's re-circulating.sand filters. The monitoring- is set by the state. In
this case it includes the B H's requirement of total nitrogen quarterly for
two years. It basically incorporates their requirement already.
Mr. Santos asked if it was in a Zone II,
Mr. Farrington confirmed that it was in a Zone 11.
Mr. Santos stated that they were going with the RSF because they wanted
the fourth bedroom.
IIIb. Harrington asked what the square footage was on the lot because he
couldn't see the plan.
Mr. Santos replied that it was 38,322 square feet,
Mr. Santos made a motion to approve the request to follow the states
requirements for the monitoring of the RSF, which includes the BOF
requirements of total nitrogen testing quarterly for two years. Ms, Grady
1'1
