r
Mr. Santos asked if they had approved this request one year ago.
Mr. Darrington replied that that was correct.
Mr. Santos asked if there wasn't some type of hardship that precipitated
heir request. They didn't or couldn't Dire anyone to do the testing. But
now they have a CPO that..e
i
Mr. Darrington replied that the CPO was only required to visit the pool
once a week. Right now the standard testing requirement was four tunes
per day for PH, alkalinity and water temperature noted in a logbook. That
is why they are requesting to do it two tunes per day because the four
times per day is excessive for the use of the pool.
Mr. Santos asked if the language in the approval would be the same. I
them were any inconsistencies and/or hits it would go back to the four
tunes per day. Then they could try and re-apply later on for the variance.
Ms. Grady agreed as long as the language is as stated. She made a motion
to approve this variance request to test the pool two times daily with the
condition that it be good for only one year and if here are any
inconsistencies or problems found in the testing the variance shall be _
revoked, They would be able to re-apply at a later date. Mr. Santos
seconded the request. Motion passed.
OLD BUSINESS:
A. 19 Quashnet Road
Mr. Harrington. granted-to bring to the BOH members attention that Mr.
Warren Miranda, who had installed a septic system without a permit,
subsequently cane in and passed the exam. All of the board's directives
regarding enforcement and fines were null and void because he cane in
before Mr. Harrington could get the letter and the fine out to him.
IVIS. Carron stated that he carne in.that Friday after the board meeting.
Mr. Harrington continued by statim that he paid to pull the permit, the
license and the test. They obtained the installers as built.
Mr. Santos asked if Mr. Hendricks situation was resolved at this point in
time.
Mr. Harrington replied that Mr. Hendricks was all straightened away,
Mr. Santos stated that this was the second situation of this sort. He felt
that eventually all three BOH members needed to review this and set
some type of policy to address this type of behavior.
