He didn't want to open up Pandora's Box,
Ms. Carron stated that since she did a lot of these applications. The
people who do pull them and have requested this change in policy are not
the eves causing the problems. There are two out of the seventy-five
installers who have actually requested this change. one of the installers
was cavossa and the other was ,Jeff Brown.
IIs. Warden stated that on the other hand, to look at the other side of the
coin, the installer's signature is always on the card and he has to be
present to oversee the installation. They have never had a problem
getting the installer's card. It wasn't the installer. It would therefore be a variance to the
current regulation.
Mr, Harrington interjected that the regulation doesn't say that they
couldn't do it at home, It doesn't state that the home can't be a licensed
facility. They couldn't do it from home to home because it has to be a
permanent location. But,) there is nothing that states that the home
couldn't be a licensed permanent facility.
Mr. Ball asked if this request was similar to the requests made by
dentists and doctors to practice out of their homes.
IIs. Grady asked if the health agents had done any inspections of her
home to make sure that it meets the requirements that would make up a
facility.
Mr. Darrington replied that they would not inspect her home until the
10
