i
i
TOWN of MASHPEE
BOARD of HEALTH
October 3rd, 2002
Meeting was called to order at 7:05 PM.
Members present: L. Clean Santos, Steven R. Balt, I aryRose Grady, Glen E,
Harrington and Veronica A. Warden,
THE TAPE Is NOT PART of THE MEETING: IT Is FOR THE PURPOSE of
TRANSCRIPTION ONLY6
Mr. L. Glenn Santos, Chairman:
Mr. Santos began by stating that the agenda that was posted by the
Clerk's office was not a full agenda. He didn't believe that it was done
deliberately. He was under the impression that the full agenda needed to
be posted 48 hours in advance. The Smoking Regulation part of the
agenda was not visible under the topic of"Old Business". He did not want
to procrastinate any further with this issue. Whether the BOH members vote on it now or net is up
to therm?
Ms. Grady continued by stating that it has been ongoing in "old Business"
and it was announced publicly and in the paper that it would be
discussed today.
Mr. Rall felt that they should move on.
Mr. Darrington stated that the clerk's date stamp was noted. But, main
was it conspicuously posted? He wasn't sure if the definition of
conspicuously posted is part of the rules for posting the agenda. If it was
then it was not done correctly and it wasn't a legally posting. He didn't
have the full answer for there right now.
Ms. Grady stated that it was headlines in the newspaper, It wasn't like
