4
6
I
Ills. Grady stated that they just said that Mr. DiMaggio was not certified.
Mr. Harrington replied that Ills. Bernhardt is certified and she was with
him on both days. It is hard to make...
Ms. Grady interrupted Mr. Harrington and stated that at Sweet retreat
she is the certified person.
Mr. Harrington concurred and stated further that she is the servsafe
person, which would even apply to a full service establishment. It was
hard to make Mr. DiMaggio do all this when they were still compliant with
the food code. They had a person in charge who was servSafe certified.
APPOINTMENT: John & Christine Sullivan 1Hickory Circle - Town Water
Connection.
Mr. Harrington began by stating that they received a call from Mr.
Macomber to do an emergency repair. Mr. Harrington went to the
property and noticed that they had town water. The hose was sticking up
out of the front yard. They had not connected. He advised therm that they had to connect up to town water. He
put on the bottom of the certificate that the property be connected to
town water prior to permit issuance, when he brought the request for the
emergency upgrade to the board members for approval. Unfortunately
that didn't happen, the permit got issued prier to them connecting up to
town water. Therefore, the BOH lost some leverage in having them
connect up to town water. Mr. Macomber carne in pulled the permit and
did the Installation. Mr. Harrington went ahead and issued a certificate of
compliance versus holding up the septic installer, He did, however,
advise the Sullivans, after the fact, that it was still the board's contention
that they hitch up to town water. if they wanted to request a hearing in
order to discuss and/or adjust the board's order, they needed to do so a
soon as possible. The Sullivans requested a hearing.
Mr. Ball asked Mr. Harrington if he knew the exact distance from the
septic to the well.
Mr. Harrington replied that he didn't know the enact distance. But, he
found the site plan after the fact. It was in the abutting properties folder.
Mr, Ball asked if it was less than 1001.
Mr. Harrington responded that it was not less than 1001. It was less than
