The VFW is a licensed facility as is the sweet Retreat.,
But, the sweet Retreat just has ice cream on the menu. They do not have
the hot dogs, hamburgers and sausages. The VFW has a full menu. That
was why they wanted the if F IS catering permit.
Mr. Bali asked if Allen Brown was servsafe certified.
ills. Warden replied that Mr* Norman Dias is certified and another
gentleman is too.
lr. Grady continued by stating that the health agents were going to work
on something to notify the people requesting catering permits as to what
the limits of their permits provide them in catering events.
Ilr'lr. Harrington responded that with the temporary food permits they have
a checklist that they give out with the permits. They don't really have a
checklist with caters. The caters are under the full aspects of the foot!
code. They don't have anything to hand out for the catering license. It i
just merely that they have the right to transport and prepare food to other
outside facilities. They don't really give any other guidelines because it is
the full food code that applies to them. But, the temporary...*
IVIS, Grady continued that they don't have the serrvSafe certification. i
Mr. Darrington replied that they absolutely needed to be servsafe
certified.
