hundred it would no longer be under the DOH requirement for
denitrification system.
Mr. Sanicki stated that that was what they were looking at because right
now the property ils classified as partially office and retail. It is vacant
right now. He could go all retail and lower it 50 gallons per thousand
versus office at 75 gallons per thousand. Therefore, if they converted it all
to retail that would be one system he would not have to upgrade. Another
thing that concerns him too is that everything is underground. There are
various systems that have to be above ground to function properly.
Mr, Santos asked if everything was in failure or did everything pass.
Mr. Najjar replied that everything passed.
Mr. sanicki stated that that was the other thing. They did have the septic
systems inspected. There are reports that all the systems have passed
Tine V requirements. If this weren't a change of ownership they wouldn't
be sitting here. They are working and there is not even a possible future
failure. They are working fine. It is going to be a major expense to Mr.
HaJ'+ar primarily because all of these systems are below the pavement.
They will have to rip up the pavement and put in something. He hasn't
gotten to that point in the plan. He was just on board for the conversation.
He was just trying to sort out what the problems are. The board says that
now he only has to look at those systems over 600 CPD. That leaves two
systems that he has to address. He is from the city and he isn't aware of
these septic systemso
Mr. Hajjar stated that he was learning quickly.
Mr. Santos stated that they presently have three that are over 600 CPD.
Mr. Hajj r stated that one was over 781.
Mr. sanicki stated that they could convert it to retail offices. They have
been discussing this option, He was unsure of Mr. Hajj is clients vacancy
rate right now. That is why they are looking to see if the board could lower
the system below 600 GPD by the use of the building. Then those systems
are excluded from the requirement of upgrade.
Mr. Santos granted to remind them that if this was the way they wanted to
o which is basically above board, and thea any change to the condition
 - PD will require n
of that building that would put you over the 600
upgrade. it is a business decision on Mr. Hal*] rls part as to what is going
to be more lucrative. It was his business and he didn't want to get into
that, it hard nothing to do with them.
5
