Request to tie in two-bedroom garage into existing S.A.S. at 333
l lonomosco Road. (continued from previous rneetin9
Mr. William Webber, licensed septic installer, was present at the meeting
representing the applicant.
do
Mr. Harrington began by stating that the original request from Mr. Hynds
was that they not have to tie in the garage, which has two bedrooms
above into the system with a denitrification unit. The denitrification unit
was required by conservation and not by the BOH. At the previous
meetings the board members had requested additional information from
Mr. Hynds. He has since provided a second letter-dated 01.01.03. The
board granted a reason why he couldn't tip it. It was never previously
explained. The letter that was received this past week states that it was
an economic reason for tying in the units. The difference between the two
units via innovative alternative technology is considerable based on going
from four to six bedrooms.
Ms. Grady asked who was requiring the dentrifioation system.
Mr. Harrington responded that it was Conservation. The BOH had
approved a six-bedroom Title V system that had been installed already.
The long trench shown on the site plan was previously approved. The
denitrification is after the fact. But, was a condition with the conservation
Commission in order to do the renovation of the house.
Mr. Santos reiterated that the homeowner already two bedrooms and the
system was in.
