There were three quotes as listed on the agenda, He was told <br /> that Horsel y & Witten were looking to reduce their price. If you want to <br /> wait and give therm a little more time to do that. He will certainly re-visit <br /> this. sloe Longo specifically told hires than he gave this bid with their <br /> normal pricing and not the municipal pricing. He was looking to drop this <br /> a couple of grand. To do that he was looking real good, so ultimately... <br /> Mr. Santos asked how they were doing with 30B requirements. <br /> Mr. Harrington responded that with 30B at $1000.00 they needed quotes. <br /> Dight now it was $25,000.00 they would meed IFP's. light now they were <br /> one bid over$25,000.00. The other two are not, <br /> Mr. Santos was under the impression that between $5,000.00 and <br /> $25,000.00 needed three quotes. <br /> Mr. Harrington disagreed and stated that it was $1 000.00 and <br /> $25,000.00. <br /> IVIr. Santos countered that he thought the town was $&04 Mand <br /> $10,000.00. Then at $10,000.00 you had to go to the advertised bid. <br /> 15. Dunkin' Donuts at stop & shop: <br /> Mr. Harrington stated that this item did not make it onto the agenda. This <br /> Dunkin' Donuts was going to be in stop & shop. They were taking half of <br /> the bakery. Where the Green Mountain coffee is in the bakery is they <br /> were going to place a Dunkin' Donuts. He and IVIS. Warden reviewed the <br /> plans and made therm move the hand sink. They had it tucked in the <br /> corner next to the three-bay sink. They made therm centrally locate so <br /> that the cashiers could get to it too, it's not that far but it is tucked <br /> away. His other fear is that stuff gets thrown in front of it and doesn't get <br /> used. Ultimately they did give therm a menu and it was all pretty <br /> standard. <br /> Mr. Santos asked if it was the same chain and just a neer owner. <br /> Mr. Harrington agreed and they have submitted their sery afe already. <br /> They are handling potentially hazardous food. The donuts are delivered. <br /> There are no ovens or anything. <br /> Mr. Ball made a motion to approve the food establishment permit for <br /> Durkin' Donuts located at the stop & Shop. IVIr. Santos seconded the <br />
