He was working with Mr. <br /> Fudala on that in conjunction with the fire department, The fire <br /> department would be the most centrally located part of the town. Plus <br /> the EMT's were trained to handle this type of thing. <br /> Mr. Harrington countered that the fire chief, George Baker, will not do <br /> that. He won't use his EMT's time to baby sit a locker every time <br /> somebody brings in a hypodermic, there COMM is willing to do that he <br /> thought that that was a great thing You already have the personnel who <br /> know how to handle therm. <br /> Mr. Ball suggested that they have a disposal box in front of the fire <br /> station where they drive up and throw there in. <br /> Mr. Harrington stated that ultimately it was going to have to be locked. <br /> Somebody would eventually try to break in and steal therm. Then the town <br /> has a liability for storing things. Maybe twenty or so places in town with <br /> the dentist, Harborside Healthcare and the doctors that right be willing <br /> to cooperate with this program. He would have to talk to the pharmacies <br /> to determine how marry they truly give out through prescriptions. He <br /> would figure that it was a bundle. <br /> Mr. Santos felt that the snowbirds would contribute that number. <br /> Mr, Harrington added that a man came to the counter with his case. He <br /> told Mr. Harrington that he was advised to bring them to the BOH <br /> because he couldn't put therm in the trash. He was right.
