r
•
basin. He tried to allude to it. But, he couldn't address that.
Mrs Ball asked who took care of the storm basins. DPW
Mr. Harrington confirmed that it was the DPW that took care of the storm
basins if they were-town roads anyway.
Mr. Sanicki thought that it was the responsibility of the Popponesset
Association.
IVIS. Lewis continued by stating that she was concerned with a leaching
field that takes on that amount of grater and what it means from a health
perspective. Her other concern was that however this is constructed or
the build up is completed. she doesn't want it to adversely affect her
property. she felt that that was a reasonable concern.
Mr. Sanicki asked if he could answer her concerns. He began by stating
that from a health standpoint. He was following all of the state guidelines
for designing a septic system.
Ms, Lewis interjected that she was sure that he was doing that.
Mr. Sanicki was trying to keep everything as low as he could. His problem
was that the physical groundwater was mandating him to lift and build up
this background. He didn't want to do that. This board has the right to
adjust this variance by one foot. If they don't he would have to raise this
system entirely another foot higher, He was trying to use a shallower
design to the system for design purposes to not impact a large area of
this backyard.
Mr. Ball asked if he raised that up two feet he would impact her lot.
Mr. Sanicki confirmed that that was correct and they would be above her.
He would have to put in a wall, a containment structure and everything
else.
Mr. Ball referred to the engineer's plan and stated that Mr. Sanicki was
impacting Mr. Adams' lot but he was putting in a containment barrier. He
asked if sic inch was enough.
Mr. Sanicki replied that that was just for surface run-off. There was no
need for this for the design of the system. He meets the breakout with
this fill as proposed on the plan. This was going to stay natural as the lover
area that it is no ir*
